Request Public Records/Reports

Welcome to the Farmington Police Department Records Division. We are committed to maintaining transparency and serving our community by providing efficient access to public records. Whether you need a report for an insurance claim, a background check for a new job, or video footage for legal clarity, our team is here to help you get the documentation you need.

To help offset the administrative costs of processing, duplicating, and securely storing these materials, the City of Farmington establishes standard fees for certain record types. However, we strive to keep public information as accessible as possible—which is why electronic copies and in-person viewings are always free.

Below is a breakdown of our current fee schedule (effective October 14, 2025) and the formatting options available for your request.
