Online Citizen Reporting System

This system allows you to submit certain police reports online, receive a case number, and print a copy for your records—free of charge.


Before You Begin

Please confirm the following:

  • This is not an emergency
  • The incident occurred within Farmington city limits
  • There are no known suspects


If you answered yes to all of the above, you are eligible to file your report online.

What to Expect After Submitting

Once your report is complete, you will:

  • See a confirmation message stating: “Your online police report has been submitted”
  • Receive a case number
  • Be able to print a copy of your report for your records

All reports submitted through this system are reviewed by officers

You may be contacted if additional information or follow-up is needed.

Filing a false police report is a crime.
